With the Bihar assembly elections officially announced, seat-sharing negotiations within the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) have reached their final stages. On Friday, Union Minister and senior BJP leader Nityanand Rai held another meeting with Lok Janshakti Party President Chirag Paswan in the national capital to continue the discussions.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Chirag Paswan stated that the talks are progressing in a positive atmosphere and that every detail is being carefully considered.
"We want to discuss all the minute issues, seats, candidates, and the campaign strategy," Paswan said, emphasising a comprehensive approach to the negotiations.
He assured reporters that a final decision on the seat-sharing formula will be made soon and affirmed that "everything is going well within the NDA."
In response to media questions about his position within the alliance, Paswan expressed his full confidence in the leadership. He stressed that with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the helm, he has no concerns about his respect or standing, and therefore, is not worried.
