Gold Price Today: On the auspicious day of Diwali, the rate of yellow metal (gold) fell a bit on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) against the previous day's closing value, At around 9:40 am, the price of gold at MCX was at Rs79,602 per 10 grams, down 0.17 per cent. The price of gold remains variable the whole day on commodity exchange platforms, following the supply and demand of Gold. However, the gold rate remains steady for any given day in the retail or physical market.
