Australia Women's National Cricket Team vs India Women's National Cricket Team Match Scorecard

Smriti Mandhan's fine knock of 105 runs went in vain as Ashleigh Gardner's five-wicket haul guided Australia to a dominating ODI series 3-0 clean sweep against India, beating visitors by 83 runs in the third and final ODI match at the W.A.C.A. Ground in Perth on Wednesday.

For Australia, Gardner's five-wicket haul dismantled India as she scalped the wickets of Mandhana, Deepti Sharma, Minnu Mani, Arundhati Reddy and Saima Thakor. Meanwhile, Megan Schutt and Alana King bagged two wickets respectively.

In the first innings, Annabel Sutherland's brilliant power-hitting of 110 runs and half-centuries by Tahlia McGrath (56) and Ashleigh Gardner (50) powered Australia to a massive total of 298/6. 

Chasing a daunting 299, Smriti Mandhana was the lone warrior for India as the tourists folded for 215 in 45.1 overs.

Opening the innings, Mandhana scored 105 off 109 deliveries to anchor the run chase but didn't get support from other Indian batters. Star spinner Ashleigh Gardner starred with a five-wicket haul.

Earlier, Australian middle-order batter Annabel Sutherland (110) struck a fine century as the hosts posted 298/6 against India.

Ashleigh Gardner (50) and skipper Tahlia McGrath (56 not out) were the other Australian batters who made vital contributions.

India's Arundhati Reddy grabbed four wickets, conceding just 26 runs in her 10 overs.
