IND vs ENG: The Men in Blue have started their training session for the five-match Test series against England at the Lord's Cricket Stadium on Saturday. The BCCI had posted a video of their session on their official X account, where the Indian team was seen getting into the groove.

The video showed some breathtaking shots of London and Lord's and then showed the inside of the indoor facilities of the venue, where the team was seen getting involved in some warm-up exercises. After that, the players came outside and were seen running and practicing fielding. But what caught everyone's attention was how head coach Gautam Gambhir and Ravindra Jadeja were seen analyzing the Duke's ball.

Watch the video here:

A Duke's ball is used for the longest format in England and works quite differently from the SG ball, which is used in India and the Kookaburra ball used in Australia. The English ball produces more seam and has a thick layer of lacquer, which helps in making the ball swing for a longer duration and sometimes up until 30th over.

I am always under pressure: Gambhir

The upcoming series would test Gautam Gambhir's strategies in the Test, especially after losing to teams like New Zealand in their backyard and against Australia. During the pre-series press conference, he admitted that he was under immense pressure but also dismissed concerns about this series.

“I am always under pressure. Regardless of whether I would’ve won the Champions Trophy or not. Because being the coach, you want the results. It does not change with winning or losing. I am always under pressure irrespective of whether we got the results or not. If you had asked me this question after New Zealand, I would have said ‘Yes, I am under pressure. After Australia, I would have said ‘Yes, I am under pressure. After winning the Champions Trophy, I am still under pressure because being the coach, you always want the results. Every game you are part of this team, you want to get the results for the country as simple as it can get' he told reporters during the pre-series press conference.
