Who Won Yesterday Match: As India continued their dominance over Pakistan in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025, Suryakumar Yadav claimed that no rivalry exists anymore between the two Cricketing nations. Addressing the post-match press conference, the Indian captain was at his usual 'jovial' mood as he took on questions from journalists regarding the match.

Notably, India defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets with 7 balls remaining, registering their second win against them in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025. Openers Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill put up a stand of 105 for the opening stand which helped the middle order to finish the game quickly on Sunday.

On being asked during the presser if Pakistan was much more competitive this time around, Suryakumar said, "I think you should stop asking questions on the rivalry because rivalry is when 15-20 matches are played by both sides, and one side is ahead by 8-7, It is called playing good cricket and a rivalry. 3-0, 10-1, I don't know what the stat is, but this is not a rivalry anymore."

Is Suryakumar Yadav's Claim Authentic?

Ever since the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, India have faced Pakistan seven times in the white-ball format and won all of them. Pakistan have a shameful T20 record against India with just three wins in 15 T20I matches. In the previous Asia Cup encounter, India inflicted a seven-wicket loss on Pakistan after they chased down 128 runs easily during this tournament's group stage.

Here are the results of recent India-Pakistan clashes since the T20 WC 2022, when Virat Kohli hit an epic 82* to power India to a 160-run target from a losing situation of 31/4 at Melbourne:
