IND vs SA: The host will try to repeat their heroics from the series opener as they will lock horns with South Africa for the second ODI in Raipur on Wednesday. The KL Rahul-led side won the first match by 17 runs on the back of some brilliant batting performances, and the hosts will try to win the second match as well.

The host will try to rotate a few players, as Nitish Kumar Reddy might replace Washington Sundar in the playing XI. Sundar had bowled in just three overs of the series opener and had scored just 13 runs. KL Rahul will be satisfied with the way the batters have performed and won't make many changes to the playing XI. Gaikwad, who made a comeback to the ODI side, will retain his position even after having a disappointing outing with the bat in the series opener.

Balance in the Indian lineup

By including Nitish Kumar Reddy in the side, the team's fast bowling attack will be bolstered along with Arshdeep, Prasidh, and Harshit Rana. Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav will be spearheading the spin department. If the host does want to include an extra spinner, then Washington Sundar might come in place of Prasidh Krishna, but that is unlikely to happen, considering the team's form.
