IND vs NZ ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Final: The ongoing summit clash of the mega-event between India and New Zealand has been full of ups and downs and the game has promised to be a nail-biting thriller. During this high-octane match, everything matters and that's why both Ravindra Jadeja and Virat Kohli were seen getting made at Kuldeep Yadav, whose poor fielding efforts had cost the team an easy dismissal.
If Kuldeep had been brilliant with his precision, then the Men in Blue would have dismissed Michael Bracewell. It could have helped the Rohit Sharma-led side take their sixth wicket and put the Kiwis on the back foot.
The incident occurred during the second ball of the 41st over. Michael Bracewell smashed the ball towards backward point and took a quick single. He was involved in an on-field collision with Daryl Mitchell. Ravindra Jadeja picked up the ball and aimed for a direct throw towards the nom-strikers end.
But the ball couldn't hit the stumps. Jadeja and Virat were seen getting mad at Kuldeep Yadav and both of them didn't shy away from expressing their feelings.
Kuldeep Yadav stood at his bowling runup and didn't run back towards the ball and removed the bails. This poor fielding effort made Jadeja and Kohli angry.
Ex-West Indies fast bowler Ian Bishop, who was part of the commentary panel, revealed, "He did not bother to get behind the stumps. They were right. He was ball-watching."

It was not the first time that Virat Kohli was seen getting mad at Kuldeep Yadav for his poor fielding skills. During the semifinal against Australia, Rohit and Kohli lost their cool at Yadav for dropping the catch.

The Mitchell Santner-led side had a great start as they chose to bat first after winning the toss. Rachin Ravindra and Will Young stitched a partnership of 57 runs for the first wicket. But, when the bowlers came into the bowling attack, they rattled the Black Caps' batting lineup.
Bowlers like Varun Chakravarthy, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav didn't allow them to settle during the middle overs and put the Men in Blue in the commanding position.
Kuldeep Yadav gave the Men in Blue the much-needed breakthrough as he dismissed Rachin Ravindra and this dismissal led to New Zealand's scoring rate coming down.
Glenn Phillips and Daryl Mitchell did stitch a partnership but Varun Chakravarthy broke this partnership.
The Rohit Sharma-led side is playing in their third consecutive summit clash of the ongoing mega-event as they had played previously in the 2013 and the 2017 editions.
