IND vs Prime Ministers XI: Indian skipper Rohit Sharma's reaction while sitting in the dugout after watching Sarfaraz Khan's bizarre dismissal during the warm-up game against Australia's Prime Ministers XI in Canberra on Sunday went viral. His reaction left the commentator thinking as to what did he think about the dismissal.
The incident occurred during the 44th over of India's innings as it was after just a few balls when India had won the match by six wickets but continued batting until the last over since it was just a warm-up game. Rohit, who was sitting in the dugout, after getting out cheaply in his first match, ever since he joined the national squad, was seen telling the two batters out in the middle- Sarfaraz Khan and Washington Sundar to play big shots.
But, during the third ball of that over, Sarfaraz got out as his bat had touched the leg-side of the ball and this led to the wicket-keeper taking an easy catch. Sarfaraz was left stunned initially since the Aussies began appealing loudly and he was thus seen walking back to the pavilion since the on-field umpire gave the decision of out.
The cameramen captured Rohit's reaction, who was sitting in the dugout, as he was seen covering his head with his hands. This left the commentators in splits as they couldn't make out his exact reaction. They were heard saying, "Is he laughing or crying? I feel he is laughing.”

India won the warm-up match by six wickets
India's star batter Shubman Gill, who was ruled out from the series opener in Perth, allayed all speculations about his thumb injury by scoring a brilliant fifty, whereas openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul continued their sublime form as they stitched a match-winning partnership of 75 runs and helped the team win the match by six wickets.
But the visitors might have to think about Rohit Sharma's form ahead of the second Test, which would be held in Adelaide, especially the decision to send him to bat at No.4 didn't work in their favor. He scored just three runs from 11 balls in the warmup match and there are high chances that he might bat at the No.5 or No.6 position during the second Test match.
During the first innings, Harshit Rana, who took three wickets in his debut Test match, repaid the faith of the team management by taking four wickets off just six balls in the warm-up clash.
At the same time, the team management made a tactical decision of making Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah skip the warm-up game and instead made them face each other in a training session. Rishabh Pant didn't clash in the warmup clash as well.
