IND vs WI: Ex-India cricketer Parthiv Patel has lauded Ravindra Jadeja for being the world's best all-rounder and has said that he is much better than Pat Cummins, Ben Stokes, and Shakib al Hasan. Jadeja was also awarded the player of the match for helping India defeat West Indies by a huge margin during the series opener. He had smashed a brilliant knock of 104 runs and registered figures of 4/54 during the second innings and helped the team win the match by an innings and 140 runs.

He has played a huge role in helping the host maintain their home domination for the last 13 years and has performed well as a batter in overseas conditions. At the same time, Parthiv Patel has heaped praises on Jadeja for being the best all-rounder and has also come in his support to take 400 wickets in this format and score 4000 runs till he retires. He also called him the world's best all-rounder.

“Jadeja is undoubtedly India’s greatest all-rounder. With nearly 4,000 runs and approaching 335 wickets, I expect him to surpass 400 wickets and 4,000 runs by the end of his career, which is a monumental achievement. On the global stage, he is currently the number one all-rounder, there is no debate about it,” Parthiv was quoted as saying on JioHotstar.

“While names like Ben Stokes, Pat Cummins, and Shakib Al Hasan come up, Jadeja stands far ahead. His exceptional consistency as both a bowler and batter across all conditions sets him apart. It’s not just occasional brilliance; it’s sustained performance that solidifies his position as the world’s best all-rounder at present,” he said.

Jadeja is the world's No. 1 all-rounder in the longest format as he has scored 405 rating points. He has scored 3990 runs till now at a staggering average of 38.73, which also includes six hundreds and 27 half-centuries. He had taken 334 wickets at a brilliant average of 25.07, which also includes 15 five-fors and three ten-fors.

In the five-match Test series against England, Jadeja was the 4th highest run-scorer as he scored 516 runs after playing in 10 innings at a staggering average of 86, which also includes one ton and five half-centuries. He also had taken seven wickets and has thus proved his worth as an all-rounder.
