IND-W vs ENG-W 1st ODI Live Streaming: After scripting history by winning the T20I series against England, the Women in Blue will be playing a three-match ODI series against England from Wednesday, July 16 in Southampton. The upcoming series is quite important for them as it will help them prepare for the 2025 ODI World Cup, which will be held in India this year. Post defeating the host by 3-2 during the recently concluded T20I series the visitors are riding high on confidence and will aim to continue their heroics in the ODI series as well.

The last time the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side played in this format was way back in May when they played a tri-series against teams like Sri Lanka and South Africa and clinched the series with the help of their dominant performances. During that series, a change in their approach was quite visible. They posted targets of 276, 275, 337, and 342 runs, and that highlighted their aggressive batting. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur did see this change and reckoned that their main aim was to post a target of more than 300 runs consistently in the 50-over format in order to give the bowlers enough runs to defend. She also admitted how including lots of spinners has helped them get an upper edge during middle overs.

One of the upcoming talents in Indian women's history is the rise of youngster Pratika Rawal, who yet again pipped Shafali Varma. Rawal has been in sublime form as she has become the fastest batter to have scored 500 runs in this format. She would be opening the innings with senior batter Smriti Mandhana. Harmanpreet Kaur, Jemimah Rodrigues, and wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh are the other batters, who consist of India's top-order batting lineup. All-rounders Deepti Sharma and Amanjot Kaur have strengthened India's batting lineup.

At the same time, the hosts have received a huge boost as two of their star players have been brought back into the side. Skipper Nat-Sciver Brunt, who gave the last three T20Is against India a miss owing to a groin injury, has been declared fit and will be leading the team from the front. World No.1 ODI bowler Sophie Ecclestone is also included in the side, who was ruled out from the series against West Indies due to a knee injury. Their inclusion has only strengthened the side, which will aim to make a brilliant comeback after losing the T20I series.
