England vs India 4th Test: Mohammed Siraj finally got a success with the ball in the ongoing fourth Test between India and England in Manchester on Friday. He dismissed Chris Woakes for 4 runs in the final session of the day.

As soon as the ball hit the stumps after a deflection off Woakes' under edge, Siraj was pumped up and came up with his famous 'Siuuu' celebration, emulating the veteran footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. The stage was set at the iconic venue, and the celebration ended up being a symbolic one, considering Ronaldo's association with the Manchester United football club, as the Portuguese star also produced several memorable performances at Old Trafford.

Siraj had a tough outing on the third day despite giving his best in the middle. He has bowled 26 overs in the match so far and given away 113 runs for just one wicket. Despite bowling brilliantly at times, Siraj was unlucky on several occasions as well.

On the other hand, England dominated the day as they reached 544/7 in 135 overs in their first innings. They have taken a lead of 186 runs with skipper Ben Stokes (77) and Liam Dawson (21) still at the crease.

The day completely belonged to England's star batter Joe Root, who produced a memorable effort and smashed multiple records during his impactful stay in the middle. He smashed his 38th Test century and became the second leading run-getter in Test cricket history as he went past Ricky Ponting's tally in the elite list.

Root went on to play a remarkable knock of 150 runs in 248 balls on the back of 14 fours before he was dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja. Washington Sundar and Jadeja picked up a couple of wickets each for India, whereas Jasprit Bumrah, debutant Anshul Kamboj and Siraj found a scalp each as well.
