PAK vs SL 1st ODI: In a shocking development, Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah's house was attacked in Lower Dir on Monday. As per a report from ESPNcricinfo, unknown assailants opened fire at the residence's gate; however, no family member was injured. Notably, the fast bowler is part of the ODI squad, which will play a three-match ODI series starting Tuesday in Rawalpindi.

Also, Naseem is expected to take part in the game despite the attack. As per a preliminary report by the local Police departments, the assailants fled the scene after firing, and their identity is still unknown.

Pakistan is set to face Sri Lanka in a three-match ODI series, which is scheduled to take place from November 11 to November 15. This will be followed by a T20I tri-series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, scheduled to take place in Rawalpindi and Lahore from November 17 to 29, with Naseem Shah being part of both squads.

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, will pose a challenge considering their prowess in Asian conditions.

Pakistan will be high on confidence after registering an ODI series win against South Africa where Naseem picked up three wickets in two matches at an average of 24.66, which Pakistan ultimately won 2-1.

Shah has grabbed 58 wickets in 32 matches with an average of 24.78 and a best bowling figure of 5/33 at an average of 24.77, including two five-hauls.
