Ram Temple Inauguration: In the build-up to the momentous Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya, the city is abuzz with the arrival of cricketing legend Virat Kohli. The star cricketer, alongside other distinguished guests, has been extended a gracious invitation to attend the inauguration of the historic Ram Temple.

In a widely circulated video, Virat Kohli's presence in Ayodhya was evident as his car navigated through the city. Kohli, known for his excellence on the cricket field, joins a distinguished list of attendees, including iconic Indian bowlers Anil Kumble and Venkatesh Prasad.

According to reports, Kohli departed from the Indian camp following his nets session on January 21 to be in Ayodhya ahead of India’s first test match against England in a 5-match series.

Anil Kumble, the 53-year-old former cricketer, was captured in Ayodhya, expressing his anticipation for the ceremony scheduled for the next day. Venkatesh Prasad shared his excitement on X (formerly Twitter), declaring his arrival in Ayodhya as "one of our most significant days."

“Jai Shree Ram. What a moment. All in readiness to witness an event of a lifetime. One of our most significant days. Whole of Ayodhya and the majority of our nation pulsating with joy. Ayodhyapati Shree Ramchandra ji ki Jai,” Prasad conveyed his reverence on X.

MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Ravichandran Ashwin have also received invitations and are expected to be in attendance for the Ram Mandir 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony.

The historic event has attracted luminaries from Bollywood, including Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Hariharan, Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Randeep Hooda.

Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla commenced a week before the main ceremony. Champat Rai, the general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, shared insights into the proceedings, mentioning that the 'Pran Prathishtha' is expected to conclude by 1 pm on Monday.

As anticipation builds, the Ram temple is set to open its doors for 'darshan' to the general public from January 23. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, embarking on an 11-day special ritual leading up to the Pran Pratishtha, is expected to share his thoughts alongside other dignitaries present at the ceremony.
