UP Warriorz Updated Squad: Deepti Sharma transcended the marquee set, rejoining her original franchise after UP Warriorz (UPW) exercised the Right-to-Match card in the 2026 Women’s Premier League (WPL) mega auction.

Delhi Capitals had originally won the bid for Rs 50 lakh, but Warriorz matched it at Rs 3.2 crore. Deepti will be joined at UP Warriorz by Australia great Meg Lanning and England all-rounder Sophie Ecclestone, with the latter acquired using the second RTM card.

In one of the most dramatic tussles of the evening, UP Warriorz snapped up the 34-year-old leg-spinner Asha Sobhana for a staggering Rs 1.1 crore.

Out-of-favour India pacer Shikha Pandey was acquired for Rs 2.40 crore by UP Warriorz.

The Andhra Pradesh pacer has represented India in 3 Tests, 55 ODIs, and 62 T20Is since 2014. She donned the jersey for Delhi Capitals in WPL 2023-2025, taking 30 wickets in 27 matches.
