Updated WTC 2025-27 Points Table: West Indies' star batter Justin Greaves had hit his first double ton, and Kemar Roach had scored a half-century for the first time in the longest format on Saturday, and helped the visitors avoid their sixth straight Test loss in Roston Chase's captaincy, and got their first point in the 2025-27 WTC points table. In the series opener in Christchurch, while chasing a mammoth target of 531 runs, the visitors scored 457/6.
Greaves scored an unbeaten knock of 202 runs off 388 balls, whereas Roach scored a gritty knock of 58 runs off 233 balls. They stitched a brilliant partnership of 180 runs for the seventh wicket and thus broke the dream of the host to win this match.

At the same time, the hosts are lying in the seventh position with a PCT of 33.33. They have scored 4 points despite playing just one match in the ongoing cycle.
