Delhi Traffic Advisory: Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory for Friday. The diversion plan comes as the Ministry of Culture is celebrating the 150th anniversary of nation song "Vande Mataram" in Delhi on November 7.

A grand event will be held on Friday at the Indira Gandhi Stadium. Approximately 11,000 people will attend the event. At least 1,000 cars and 300 buses will be plying the roads to transport them. Consequently, Delhi residents may face difficulties on these routes today. In view of this, the Delhi Police have implemented a diversion plan on these routes.

There is a possibility of traffic jam on these routes from 5 am to 2 pm today

-BSZ Marg, JLN Marg, MG Marg, IP Marg, Vikas Marg

-Secretariat Marg, Velodrome Road

-Shanti Van Crossing → Rajghat → Bhairon Marg

-Below Geeta Colony Flyover → IP Flyover → Salim Garh Bypass

-W Point → Delhi Gate

-Rajghat → Kishan Ghat / Power House Road

-ITO → Yamuna Bridge (IP Marg and Vikas Marg)

Advice To Drivers

- Avoid these routes from 5:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Entrance to the stadium

- Gates 1, 2, 3, 7 and 8 (East) via Velodrome/Secretariat Road

- Gates 19, 21, 22, 23 (West) via MG Marg/Ring Road

Parkin Advisory Issued

Vehicles parked in restricted areas may face action, so avoid parking in these areas today.
