Redevelopment work is currently being carried out on the platforms at the Ghaziabad railway station. Additionally, safety maintenance work is scheduled to be undertaken in the Ghaziabad yard. As a result, a decision has been made to cancel several local trains, while the routes of many others have been altered.
List of Cancelled Trains
December 5: The Purnia Court-Anand Vihar Terminal Special (05579) and the Bareilly-Old Delhi Passenger (54075) will remain cancelled.
December 6: The Old Delhi-Satrod Passenger (54085), Satrod-Old Delhi Passenger (54086), Old Delhi-Bareilly Passenger (54076), and Old Delhi-Aligarh EMU (64102) will not run.
December 7: The Old Delhi-Dankaur EMU (64104), Dankaur-Shakur Basti EMU (64109), Ghaziabad-Tundla EMU (64167), Tundla-Ghaziabad EMU (64168), Old Delhi-Moradabad Passenger (54308), Aligarh-Old Delhi EMU (64101), and Anand Vihar Terminal-Purnia Court Special (05580) will remain cancelled.

List Of Diverted Trains
December 6
- Daurai (Ajmer)-Tanakpur Express (15091): Will run via the Ghaziabad-Meerut City-Tapri-Laksar-Moradabad route.
- Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Subedarganj (20434): Will run via the Ambala Cantt-Saharanpur-Meerut City-Khurja route.
- Ayodhya Cantt-Old Delhi (14205): Will run via the Moradabad-Laksar-Tapri-Meerut City-Ghaziabad route.
