Aadarsh Pariksha Kendras: In a transformative move, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has launched ‘Aadarsh Pariksha Kendras’—hi-tech model exam centres across 12 cities in the state. These centres aim to ensure fair, secure, and seamless conduct of exams through cutting-edge infrastructure and digital monitoring systems.

Cities like Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, and Bhagalpur now host these state-of-the-art centres which support both Computer-Based Tests (CBT) and Paper-Based Tests (PBT). Each centre is ISO-certified, equipped with biometric entry, AI-powered CCTV surveillance, and air-conditioned facilities to enhance candidate comfort.

Revolutionising Bihar’s Examination Infrastructure

The ‘Aadarsh Pariksha Kendra’ initiative directly addresses issues like exam malpractice, temporary setups, and inadequate seating seen in earlier systems. These permanent centres are built to global standards, with zero blind-spot surveillance, secure printing zones, and centralised control rooms. They ensure discipline and transparency while also boosting the credibility of Bihar’s exam ecosystem.

Student-Centric Design and Smooth Execution

Each centre is designed with student convenience in mind—AC halls, baggage counters, and spacious waiting zones create a calm and controlled test environment. Candidates have praised the centres for professionalism and comfort, and successful recent exams like the Indian Navy recruitment test demonstrate their operational effectiveness.

Boosting Local Jobs and Digital Governance:

The setup has created job roles in technical operations, invigilation, and administration, offering employment in participating districts. The initiative also aligns with Bihar’s push for digitalisation and good governance, positioning the state as a leader in educational reform.

Future Expansion Plans Across Bihar:

With strong feedback and smooth execution, the BSEB plans to expand these centres to more districts, aiming for a 14,000-seat capacity. The ‘Aadarsh Pariksha Kendras’ are set to be a replicable model for other Indian states.

The ‘Aadarsh Pariksha Kendras’ mark a transformative step in Bihar’s exam system, combining technology, transparency, and candidate comfort. This initiative not only ensures fair exams but also boosts local employment and sets a new benchmark for education infrastructure in India.
