CBSE Board Exams 2024: Private students in Classes 10 and 12 can now register for the CBSE board exams 2024, according to the Central Board of Senior Secondary Education (CBSE). Students can register themselves by visiting the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.

The CBSE 2024 board exams form must be submitted by October 11 to avoid a late fee. However, from October 12 to October 19, students must pay an additional Rs 2,000 as a late charge for completing their application. The most recent CBSE timetable states that the registration period will finish on October 19.

Along with the main board exams in 2024, CBSE will administer the board exams for private students from February to April of that year.

Students who took the CBSE board examinations in 2023 will have their information automatically produced while filling out the application, while students who took the exams in 2022 or earlier must enter their information, such as their roll number and year of graduation, into the online application portal.

CBSE Board Exams 2024: Eligibility Criteria

According to the official notice from CBSE, the eligibility requirements are:-

1. Students of the session 2022-23 who have been declared essential repeat in the result of the 2023 examination.

2. Students of the session 2022-23 who have been placed in a compartment in the Board's Main Examinations 2023 if not declared Pass in the 1st chance.

3. Students of the session 2022-23 who have been placed in compartment in 1st chance compartment examination- 2023.

4. Students who have been declared fail/essential repeat in 2028, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

5. Passed out students of 2023 who wish to appear to improve their performance in one or more subjects.

6. Passed out students of 2022 and 2023 who wish to appear in additional subjects.
