CTET Exam Dates 2026: CBSE has revised the exam dates for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026. In its official announcement, CBSE has issued a detailed exam schedule for the CTET February session exam 2026. Due to a significant rise in the application numbers, the Board has decided to conduct the exam on two days, i.e., Feb 7 and 8. Earlier, the exam was scheduled for only one day, i.e., Feb 7, 2026. 

According to the official notice, "Now, due to large number of applications received from the candidates, it has been decided to conduct the CTET examination on 07th & 08th February, 2026 (Saturday & Sunday) in 140 cities all over the country."

CTET Exam Dates 2026: Revised Exam Time Table

CBSE will conduct the 21st edition of the CTET exam for Papers 1 and 2 in two shifts, morning and afternoon. Candidates are advised to verify their exam details on the admit cards as per their shift timings. Check below for details regarding shift timings for Papers 1 and 2. 

The Board has asked all candidates to check their exam shift timings properly on the CTET admit cards. Candidates must reach the exam centre approximately half an hour before the reporting time. The CTET admit cards 2026 will be released shortly. Candidates must download it from the CBSE CTET official website. Cross check thorioghtly all details mentioned on the admit cards. In case of any discrepancy, reach out to the authorities for timely correction.
