Haryana Schools Timings Change:  The Haryana Education Department has modified the timings for all state-run and private schools in order to ensure seamless conduct of the 2024 Haryana board exam. The new school timing will take effect from February 15.

According to the revised timings, Single-shift schools will now operate from 8 am to 2:30 pm, while double-shift schools will operate from 7 am to 12:30 pm and 12:45 pm to 6:16 pm.

“You are informed that in view of the smooth conduct of annual examinations, the following changes are made in the schools from 15 February 2024,” reads the notification.

Earlier, due to the cold wave in November of last year, the state government changed the hours of operation for schools in Haryana. For single-shift schools, the revised schedule was 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, and for dual-shift schools, it was asked to run classes from 7:55 am to 12:30 pm on the first shift and from 12:40 pm to 5:15 pm on the second shift.

Haryana Board Exam 2024 From February

Exams for HBSE Class 10 will begin on February 27 and run till March 26, 2024. Exams for Class 12 will take place from February 27 to April 2, 2024. The Haryana Board Class 9 exam will commence on February 17, 2024, whereas the Class 11 examinations are scheduled to begin on February 15, 2024.
