IIT JAM 2026 Registration: The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay will begin the process of registration for the Joint Admission Test for Master's (JAM) 2026 tomorrow from September 5, 2025 on their official website. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application forms online by visiting the website portal at jam2026.iitb.ac.in. The students must keep a close check on the official website to stay updated. 

IIT JAM 2026 Registration: Application Deadline

According to the official notification, the last date to register for the Joint Admission Test for Master's (JAM) 2026 is October 12, 2025. Those students are seeking admission into MSc and Integrated MSc–PhD programmes and courses at IITs and IISc must fill in the online JAM 2026 registration form. 

The IIT JAM 2026 Examination will be conducted on February 15, 2026 in two examination shifts. According to the information mentioned in the brochure, there are around 3000 seats in postgraduate programmes at 22 IITs for the academic year 2026-27.

IIT JAM 2026 Registration: Eligibility Criteria

To register for the IIT JAM 2026 Registration, students must attain these eligibility criteria, they should be a Bachelor's degree holder or in their final year of undergraduate programme. There is no maximum age limit, but graduation proof should be submitted within the deadline. 

The application fee for one test paper is ₹1,000 for female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates and ₹2,000 for all others. The application fee for two test papers are ₹1,350 for reserved category candidates and ₹2,700 for all other category students. An extra ₹300 will be levied for corrections like a change in exam city, subject, or category.

How to apply for IIT JAM Exam 2026?

Step 1. Students have to visit the official website of the IIT JAM Examination at jam2026.iitb.ac.in.

Step 2. Students need to first register by providing their personal and educational details.

Step 3. After receiving credentials, students have to log in and fill the registration form.

Step 4. After submitting, students have to pay an online application fee.

Step 5. Submit to proceed and download the confirmation page.
