Indian Army SSC Tech 2024 Recruitment: The Indian Army has released a notification for the 63rd Short Service Commission (SSC) tech men and 34th SSC tech women courses, which will begin in October 2024. Aspirants can submit their application forms through the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in by February 21, 2024.
Unmarried male and female engineering graduates, as well as widows of Indian armed forces defence personnel who died while pursuing an SSC award in the Indian Army, are eligible to fill out this application form. Selected applicants would be assigned for 49-week training at the Officers Training Academy in Chennai.
The Indian Army's recruiting campaign intends to fill 381 positions, including 350 for SSC (Tech) men, 29 for SSC (Tech) women, and two for widows of military personnel.

Indian Army SSC Tech 2024 Recruitment: Eligibility criteria
Candidates may see the qualifying requirements for Indian Army SSC tech 2024 recruitment below:
- Age limit: As of October 1, 2024, SSC(Tech) male and female applicants shall be between the ages of 20 and 27. Widows of Indian armed forces defence soldiers can be up to 35 years old as of October 1, 2024.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates who have completed the required engineering degree course or are in the last year of their engineering degree program are eligible to apply.
How to apply for Indian Army SSC Tech 2024 Recruitment?
Candidates can apply for the Indian Army SSC Tech 2024 by following the processes outlined below.
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Indian Army at joinindianarmy.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads, "Officer Entry Apply/Login" After that click on the link that says, "Registration."
Step 3: Now, complete the registration process and create a username and password.
Step 4: Candidates have to log into the account by entering the generated credentials.
Step 5: Fill out the personal and academic details also upload the necessary documents and make the required payment.
Step 6: Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further reference.
Indian Army SSC Tech 2024 Recruitment: Official notice
“Selected candidates will be granted Short Service Commission on probation in the rank of Lieutenant from the date of commencement of the course or the date of reporting at Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA), whichever is later and will be entitled to full pay and allowances admissible to Lieutenant during the training period. Pay and allowances will be paid after successful completion of training,” the official notice read.
