JNV Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria
For admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), students who are currently enrolled in Class 5 can apply. Applications must be made for the Navodaya Vidyalaya located in the student's home district; applications to schools in other districts are not permitted. Parents need to submit the child's residence certificate with the application.
Students must have completed Classes 3, 4, and 5 in a government, government-aided, or recognised school in order to be eligible for admission to JNV's Class 6. JNV reserves 75 per cent of its seats for students from rural areas within each district, while the remaining 25 per cent are available to students from both urban and rural areas.
