National Teacher Award: President Droupadi Murmu will honor 50 educators with the National Teachers Award 2024 during the National Teachers' Day celebration on September 5, 2024. The prestigious ceremony will be held at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi, where President Murmu will give the awards.
The National Teachers Award 2024 aims to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of educators who have made a significant impact on their students and the broader educational landscape in India. Award recipients will be honored with a cash prize of Rs 50,000, a silver medal, and a certificate of appreciation.
The award is open to educators from colleges, universities, higher educational institutions, and polytechnics across India. The selection process consists of two stages: an initial screening by a preliminary search committee, followed by a final selection by a jury from the shortlisted candidates.
