Kerala School Holiday: Holidays have been declared for educational institutions in various districts of Kerala this week in connection with the local body elections. Holidays were declared in these districts on December 9th and 11th, when the elections will be held.
Holidays were declared on December 9th in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Alappuzha, and Ernakulam districts, and on December 11th in Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod districts.
In addition, holidays have been declared on other dates in different districts, even before election day, such as on December 8th, the day before the elections, in many districts. You can view details of other holidays declared so far in each district.
