NEET UG Result 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the NEET UG 2024 Revised Final Result today, July 25, 2024. On Tuesday, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that the revised final results of NEET UG 2024 will be released within the next two days. Once released, candidates will be able to check the NEET UG Result 2024 at exams.nta.ac.in.

On July 23, the Supreme Court of India dismissed the pleas seeking the cancellation and re-test of NEET UG 2024. Based on the IIT Delhi report, the SC also instructed the NTA to revise the NEET 2024 results, as 44 students loose marks due to an issue with one Physics question. The top court emphasised that there would be only one accurate answer, and any response varying from that would not receive marks.

"In view of the experts' determination, we have no manner of doubt with regard to the correct option... we accept the IIT Delhi report, and accordingly, the NTA shall re-tally the NEET UG result on the basis that option 4 represents the only correct answer to the question," the top court said while pronouncing the order.

The revised final result will affect the rank list of over 4 lakh candidates, including 44 NEET UG 2024 toppers who received grace marks for the disputed question. Once the revised results are announced, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and state counselling bodies will initiate the online counselling process for UG medical admissions.
