UPSC ESE 2026 Interview Schedule: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Personality Schedule for the Engineering Services (Main) Examination 2026 on the official website. As per the official schedule, the interview rounds will begin on September 21, 2026, for the 1,336 shortlisted candidates who have qualified for the interview stage. The e-Summon Letters for the Personality Tests for such candidates will be released shortly on the official portal at upsc.gov.in. Candidates must download the letter and check their exam date and time for the PT. Applicants also won’t be able to request any change in the interview date or timing. The dates allotted to them by the Commission are final.

UPSC ESE 2026 PT Exam Dates And Timings

The PT exams will begin on September 21, 2026, and will continue until October 30, 202,6 across two shifts. 

The detailed schedule is mentioned below:

• September: 21, 22, 23, 24, and 25

• October: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, and 30

• Forenoon session: Reporting time at 9 am

• Afternoon session: Reporting time at 1 pm

How To Download UPSC ESE 2026 PT Exam Schedule PDF?

To download the interview schedule, candidates need to visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in. On the homepage, click on the UPSC ESE 2026 interview schedule, and the PDF will open on the screen. Download it and check the interview dates and corresponding shift timings thoroughly. Notably, candidates who have cleared the Engineering Services Main Examination are eligible to appear for the interview.

Travel Reimbursement for Candidates

Candidates appearing for the interview schedule will be eligible for travel reimbursement. The reimbursement will be limited to the Sleeper/Second Class train fare on Mail Express trains. 

The UPSC Engineering Services Main Examination 2026 was previously conducted on June 21, 2026, across two shifts. The first shift was from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second shift was held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
