Nobel Prize 2025: The Nobel Prize is the most prestigious award which is given every year to those organizations and people whose work has made a significant impact in various fields such as Physics, Chemistry, Literature, Peace, Economic Sciences and more. The distribution of the Nobel Prize 2025 has already commenced on 06 October 2025, and the award ceremony was concluded on October 13, 2025. 

What are Nobel Prizes:

The Nobel Prizes are among the most esteemed and prestigious international awards and recognition. This is awarded to those individuals or organisations whose work has significantly benefited humanity and brought some extraordinary change and make a better world for living. It was first awarded in 1901, these prizes were established according to the will of Alfred Nobel, who was the chemist, engineer, and inventor.

Nobel Prize Categories: 

Alfred Nobel outlined five different categories, and a sixth category was added later. In current situation, the Nobel Prizes are awarded in six different categories:

1.Physics – Nobel Prize is awarded to those individuals for their groundbreaking discoveries in nature and the universe.

2. Chemistry – Nobel Prize is awarded to those individuals for exceptional achievements in chemical sciences.

3. Physiology or Medicine – Nobel Prize is awarded to those individuals for discoveries that can improve the health of humans. 

4. Literature – Nobel Prize is awarded to those individuals for their distinguished literary work.

5. Peace – Nobel Prize is awarded to those individuals for their extraordinary efforts toward promoting peace and resolving conflicts for a better life. 

6. Economic Sciences – This category was established in 1968 by the Swedish central bank in honour of Alfred Nobel.
