The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday released a clarification notice regarding circulating false social media messages. These fake messages claim that individuals who participate in the Lok Sabha elections 2024 and have inked fingers will be barred from entering examination halls. The NTA stressed that voting will not impact a student's eligibility to take tests and rejected the claims as "baseless." Candidates can check the notification at nta.ac.in.
"The above messages are completely baseless, and NTA has not issued any such instruction or guideline. Students are requested not to pay heed to such rumours and to exercise their voting rights. Voting will not affect their eligibility to take examinations," reads the notification.
Moreover, candidates have been urged to stay focused on their studies and get ready for the upcoming examinations. Candidates are advised to keep checking the NTA official website for the latest updates.
