UPESSC UPTET Scorecard: Lakhs of candidates who appeared for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) may soon see their wait come to an end. The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is expected to announce the UPTET results shortly, allowing candidates to download their scorecards from the official website, upessc.up.gov.in, using their roll number.
The UPTET exams for the Primary and Upper Primary Levels were conducted on July 2, 3, and 4. After the provisional answer key was released, the commission accepted objections from candidates between July 8 and July 14, 2026. Once the objection redressal process concludes, the commission will officially declare the results. While the result is expected soon, no official confirmation regarding the exact date has been issued yet.
How to Check UPTET Result 2026?
The result link will first be made available on the UPESSC website once declared, so candidates should be familiar with the download process in advance. Visit the official website, upessc.up.gov.in, and look for the "UPTET Result 2026 Download Scorecard" link on the homepage after the result is announced. Clicking this link will open a dashboard where candidates must carefully enter their UPTET roll number, password, and other required details before clicking submit to view their scorecard on screen.
What the Scorecard Will Contain?
Once generated, the scorecard will display comprehensive details related to the candidate's UPTET attempt. This includes the exam name, session, candidate's name, roll number, date of birth, marks scored, qualifying status, and the paper name.
Candidates are advised to check all these details carefully for accuracy before downloading a printout or saving the scorecard as a PDF for future reference and use in subsequent recruitment processes.

UPTET 2026 Passing Marks Criteria
The scorecard will also indicate the marks obtained by the candidate in the exam, which determines their qualifying status. According to the passing criteria, general category candidates must score at least 90 out of 150 marks to qualify.
Meanwhile, candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories, dependents of freedom fighters, ex-servicemen, and differently-abled candidates need to secure a minimum of 80 out of 150 marks to receive the UPTET certificate.
