Uttar Pradesh TET Result 2026: Candidates awaiting the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 result have a major update to look forward to. The result is set to be released soon on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Shiksha Sewa Chayan Aayog (UPESSC), upessc.up.gov.in. Once declared, candidates will be able to download their scorecard and merit list by entering their registration number/roll number.
The UPTET 2026 exam was conducted for a total of 150 marks. To pass the exam, the Commission has fixed category-wise minimum qualifying marks. General category candidates need at least 60 per cent marks, i.e., 90 out of 150, while OBC, SC, ST, and PwD category candidates need a minimum of 55 per cent marks, i.e., 82 out of 150, to be declared successful.

Steps To Download UPTET Result 2026
1. Visit the official UPESSC website.
2. On the homepage, under the "Latest Updates" section, click on the UPTET Result Link.
3. A new page will open; enter your registration number and password.
4. Your scorecard will appear on the screen.
5. Download it and take a printout for future reference.
UPTET 2026: What Is The Validity Of UPTET Scorecards?
The validity of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) certificate has now been made permanent, meaning lifetime valid. As a result, candidates will not need to reappear for the eligibility test once they clear it.
The exam has no negative marking, with 1 mark awarded for each correct answer and no deduction for incorrect or unattempted questions, allowing candidates to attempt every question without penalty.
After clearing UPTET, candidates become eligible to apply for upcoming teacher recruitment drives in Uttar Pradesh, though final selection depends on the respective recruitment process, exams, and other prescribed criteria.
