The Met Gala, often referred to as the Oscars of fashion, is approaching. In case you're not familiar with this event, here's a brief overview before we delve into the exciting details. The Met Gala, also known as the Met Ball, is a high-profile charity event held annually (except during the pandemic) on the first Monday of May at the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Each year, there is a theme that guests are encouraged to adhere to, resulting in memorable fashion moments (and often hilarious memes!).
On May 1, both our favourite and not-so-favourite celebrities will attend an exhibition to honour the late Karl Lagerfield, Chanel's former creative director, showcasing their most dazzling ensembles. The theme for this year's event is "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty," so anticipate grandeur and extravagance. Therefore, to start the fashion frenzy, we have rounded up a list of the 10 most iconic looks of all time.
