Aamir Khan opened up about quitting alcohol because he was addicted to it. The actor admitted that he still smokes a pipe. He also shared that he lacks discipline in life but is very particular about his films. He called himself an ‘extremist’ in other areas of life. Aamir also shared that being ‘extremist’ is not a good thing and he should stop it. He also talked about doing a film in a year from now on.
During a chat with Nana Patekar, Aamir said “Yes. For that, I am always on time. So I am not indisciplined when it comes to my films but in my life, I am. I smoke a pipe. Now I have quit drinking but at one point, I used to drink. And when I used to drink, I would drink all night.”
He continued, “The problem is that I am an extremist man so I continue to do what I am already doing. It’s not a good thing and I realise that. I also know that I am doing the wrong thing but I cant stop myself.”
While calling himself sharply disciplined, Aamir said that he does not go through problems while making a film. Nana Patekar asked him to keep on working. Aamir then shared his plan and said “I have thought that I will do one film a year now because otherwise I do one film in three year.”
This was so wholesome, I'm still in awe of this interview/interaction Aamir Khan × Nana Patekar. Instead of a movie promotion it felt like a TED Talk episode ❤️🤌🏻. Need more such interactions from bollywood instead of those other crappy podcasts. #Vanvaas #NanaPatekar #AamirKhan pic.twitter.com/IZiH089RN7
