New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Superstar Aamir Khan, who is all set to feature in upcoming film 'Laal Singh Chaddja' on Monday shared the first poster of his movie. In the poster, he can be seen in the look of a Sardar, which is quite impressive and will make you smile. He wore a pink and grey check shirt and paired with a grey trouser donning a matching pagdi. Sharing the picture, Aamir Khan wrote, "Sat Sri Akaal ji, myself Laal...Laal Singh Chaddha.”

As per reports, the film shooting began on November 1 in Punjab. It will be filmed in cities such as Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Amritsar and nearby places. Kareena Kapoor Khan will be playing opposite Aamir in the movie.

The film is an adaptation of Forrest Gump-- a 1994 multiple Oscar-winning film by Robert Zemeckis starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. The Hindi adaptation is being produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.

A few days ago, Aamir had unveiled the logo of the film with music composer Pritam's soundtrack. "Kya pata hum mein hai kahani, ya hai kahaani mein hum…” he captioned.

The film will mark the reunion of Aamir and Kareena on screen for the first time after seven years. The duo had last featured together in Bombay Talkies. As per reports, Aamir, who last featured in Thugs of Hindostan,  shed 20 kgs for the titular role. The film is being directed by Secret Superstar fame Advait Chandan. Laal Sing Chaddha is slated to release on December 25, 2020.

As per speculations, the film is rumoured to bring three Khans-- Aamir, Shah Rukh and Salman-- together on the big screen for the first time. “He is very keen to have a special appearance from the two. While Shah Rukh has agreed, Salman is yet to give his consent,” a source was quoted as saying by BollywoodLife.
