JE Entertainment Desk: Prabhas and Kriti Sanon-starrer 'Adipurush' has finally hit the theatres after much delay. However, the movie has become the victim of piracy just a few hours after its release. As per reports, the movie is available for free download in HD on several sites like Tamilrockers, Filmyzilla, and Movierulez and it has also leaked on Telegram.
As 'Adipurush' is a big-budgeted film, piracy can affect its box office collection. Earlier, big movies like 'Pathaan', 'Drishyam 2', 'Bhediya' and 'Bholaa' were leaked online just a few hours after their release.

Recently, 'Adipurush' got involved in another controversy after Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah announced that no Indian film will be showcased within the capital if the movie does not correct the mistake about the birthplace of Goddess Sita. For the unversed, Sita was born in Nepal's Janakpur, according to Ramayana.
He wrote on Facebook, "Until and unless the slogan 'Janki is the daughter of India' included in the South Indian film 'Adipurush' is not true not only in Nepal but also in India, no Hindi film will be allowed to run in the Kathmandu Metropolitan City. 2 days have been given to correct this. Hail to Mother Sita."
As per ETimes, the censor board passed the film after the dialogue claiming Sita as India's daughter was removed from the film.
As the movie received criticism for its poor VFX and portrayal of Ramayana, Kriti Sanon defended her film and said, "As Om Raut, my director has mentioned in the note that was brought out, it is a film that we all are extremely proud of. It is a film which is of grand canvas; it is a part of our history and is extremely important. It needs to be put out in the right way and in the best possible way because that’s what he (Om) also had envisioned."
The movie stars Prabhas and Kriti Sanon as Raghava and Janaki respectively. Saif Ali Khan will be seen as Lankesh, Sunny Singh as Lakshman and Devdatta Nage as Bajrang.
