JE Entertainment Desk:
'Adipurush' stood out to be one of the most controversial films in 2023 released on June 16. The film's cringe dialogues and poor VFX has now created havoc on social media, as the audience is now demanding to change the poorly written dialogues of the film which leads to a negative portrayal of the Hindu epic 'Ramayana.'
Among the many terrible dialogues of the film, the most viral dialogue of the film stood out was Lord Hanuman telling Indrajeet 'Jalegi Tere Baap Ki' which created a negative sensation online and started the 'Boycott Adipurush' trend on the internet.
Now, keeping their promise about changing the dialogue of the film, the makers have revised and released the dialogue where a leaked visual showing the same scene with the 'Baap' word being replaced with 'Lanka' surfaced over the internet.
After all the flake over the dialogues, several other dialogues have also been changed by the makers as promised. The complete revised dialogue is narrated by Devdatta Nage portraying the character of Hanuman to Indrajeet which states, "Kapda Teri Lanka ka, tel teri Lanka ka, aag bhi tere Lanka ki, jalega bhi teri Lanka hi."
'Adipurush' was released after a wait of six months where last year the makers released the first teaser of the film which was heavily trolled for its poor VFX and costumes. Now, after the release of the film, people are trolling the cringe dialogues which are used in the film such as 'marega bere', 'bua ka bagicha hain kya', and 'jalegi tere baap ki' etc.
According to a report in India Today, a statement was issued by the film's team which stated, "Adipurush is garnering an overwhelming response across the world and is conquering hearts of audiences across all ages. Making this visual spectacle a memorable cinematic experience, the team decides to make alterations to the film's dialogues –Valuing the input of the public and the audience."
