Alia Bhatt’s Big Hollywood Debut
The first step in global stardom for an actor is to do a film with a pan-world appeal. And Alia Bhatt understood the assignment very well. The actor signed up with a leading American talent agency, which manages top Hollywood A-listers including Gal Gadot, Emma Stone, Oprah and Charlize Theron.
The sign up did fare well and Alia Bhatt landed her first big project in Hollywood. After featuring in Bollywood films for over 10 years, the actor is all set to make her American film debut with Netflix’ The Heart of Stone. The high-octane action drama will mark Alia Bhatt’s first ever action film.
Fashion Debut At MET Gala 2023

After a blockbuster year in 2022, the actor eyes a big year in 2023 as well. Not just her big Hollywood movie debut, Alia Bhatt will also be making her world fashion debut with the MET Gala 2023. The actor will be making her debut red carpet appearance tonight and will be joining Priyanka Chopra.
Time 100 Impact Award
Alia Bhatt won the Time 100 Impact Award in 2022. The actor received the award for her golden year at the Indian box-office with four consecutive successful films including SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, her own maiden production film Darlings and Karan Johar’s Brahmastra Part One: Shiva.
In her acceptance speech, Alia Bhatt spoke about wanting to create an impact globally. “I am immensely proud to be here tonight as a representative of my country, a country that has built both me and my career. India is a country that values diversity above anything else, and it’s a song that I hope to sing all over the world. When it comes to making an impact, I hope I can continue to do so in whatever way possible,” the actor said at the event.
What’s Next On Alia Bhatt’s Hollywood List?
In an interview back in 2016, Alia Bhatt opened up about embracing a career in the West. “Definitely Hollywood is something, a destination that you really reach after, maybe a couple of years after kind of finding your feet in Bollywood. I’m going to step into it maybe a little slower, but definitely I have plans,” the actor said.

Over the years, Alia Bhatt has rightfully marked her presence in the Hindi film industry with award winning performances in films like Highway, Raazi, Udta Punjab and Gangubai Kathiawadi.
For an actor of Alia Bhatt’s calibre, it wouldn’t be surprising to see her landing a full-fledged role in an American show or movie. The actor could be seen following in the footsteps of her predecessor Priyanka Chopra and making her way into mainstream Hollywood cinema.
Having been signed up by one of the most sought after American talent agencies, Alia Bhatt will surely be a part of many more Hollywood projects.
