Bollywood’s veteran actor Anupam Kher extended his good wishes to Kangana Ranaut after her win in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The actress-turned-politician was contesting on behalf of the BJP from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi constituency. Anupam congratulated Kangana on her victory and called her ‘Rockstar’. He further stated that her journey is inspirational and credited her determination towards work commitments. In an Instagram post, Kher wrote “My dearest #Kangana! CONGRATULATIONS on your HUGE Victory! You are a #ROCKSTAR. Your journey is so so inspirational! So happy for you and the people of #Mandi and #HimachalPradesh. You have proved time and again that if one is focused and works hard तो “कुछ भी हो सकता है”! जय हो!” 

Jackie Shroff commented on the post and wrote, “Bhidu.”

At the same time, Kangana also took her X (formerly known as Twitter), where she credited the victory to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP, Sanatan Dharma and the people of Mandi. 

She tweeted, “Heartfelt gratitude to all Mandi residents for this support, this love and trust This victory is of all of you, this is the victory of faith in Prime Minister Modi and BJP, this is the victory of Sanatan, this is the victory of the honour of Mandi.”

On the other hand, Kangana will be seen in her directorial movie Emergency. The movie is based on the life of the first female Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. It also stars Milind Soman, Vishak Nair, Anupam Kher, Bhumika Chawla, Mahima Chaudhry, Shreyas Talpade, Christophe Guybet, Scott Alexander Young, Adhir Bhat and R. Bhakti Klein in key roles. Earlier, Kangana Ranaut and Anupam Kher worked in movies like Game and Shakalaka Boom Boom. 
 
Anupam will also be seen in multiple projects including Shashi Ranjan’s Mungilal Rocks, Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino and Ram Vamsi Krishna’s The India House.
