Bad Newz Movie: Plot and cast
Bad Newz, a comedy inspired by true events, serves as a spiritual successor to the 2019 film 'Good Newwz' starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Diljit Dosanjh. The story revolves around two couples whose lives intersect due to a doctor's mistake during In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).
In the film, touted as a three-way narrative, Triptii's character takes center stage. Upon discovering her pregnancy, she faces the dilemma of identifying the father, between the boisterous Punjabi Akhil Chaddha (played by Vicky) and the more reserved personality (portrayed by Ammy). Advised by her best friend, played by Neha Dhupia, Triptii decides to conduct a paternity test, leading to an unexpected revelation in the trailer: both men are confirmed as fathers due to an exceedingly rare scientific anomaly.
Chaos unfolds as the trio grapples with their unique situation. The rivalry between the two male leads intensifies as Triptii's character challenges them to prove their fatherly capabilities. Alongside the humour, the storyline delves into drama, emotional turmoil, and heartfelt moments.
