BLACKPINK member Jennie is one of the most popular pop stars and has achieved several milestones in her career. She has been experimenting with various projects and will soon appear in the variety show called 'My Name Is Gabriel'. In the show, the celebrities will live in another country for a few days and will try to lead a normal life far from the limelight. Jennie will live as Maria, an Italian B&B Owner, and will reportedly try to operate it.

'My Name Is Gabriel' will be released on Disney+ Hotstar and the episodes featuring Jennie will be available on September 27 and October 4. Park Bo Gum, Yum Hye Ran, Ji Chang Wook, Park Myung Soo, Hong Jin Kyung, YouTuber Dex, and dancer Gabee are the other guests of the show. On the work front, Jennie teamed up with Kpop star Zico for the song 'Spot'. Zico said, "So I came up with a few options aside from that song. I had 6 songs prepared. Then I reduced it to two songs. 'What fits you more?'. When I say 'This is all I have,' the artist may not be interested. When I asked her to feature in the song, I made her feel at ease."

She earlier launched her solo label 'ODD ATELIER' but decided to stay associated with her agency YG Entertainment for the group activities with BLACKPINK. Talking about going on her solo journey, Jennie said, "I wanted to do group activities with the company I had been with for seven years, but I wanted to be freer and more comfortable in my individual activities, so I carefully founded a company called OA. I will work with the crew I have been with for a long time. I wanted to be able to do all my activities freely.”

She will reunite with BLACKPINK members Jisoo, Rose and Lisa for another project, releasing in 2025.
