Pippa Twitter Review: Starring Ishaan Khatter as the real-life war hero Captain Balram Singh Mehta, alongside Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Soni Razdan in significant roles, the film has garnered positive reaction from fans and critics. Raja Krishna Menon's directorial briefly narrates the events of the 1971 war between India and Pakistan, which resulted in the birth of Bangladesh. The movie depict the historical scenario of East and West Pakistan, explaining the longstanding divide between the two nations since the partition in 1947.

Soon after watching the film, many took to their social media to applaud Ishaan and Mrunal performances in this war movie. The film is based on the book 'The Burning Chaffees' by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. Additionally, the music composed by AR Rahman has left a lasting impression on viewers, earning praise for its contribution to Pippa. About Pippa

Pippa is based on the life of Captain Balram Singh Mehta of India's 45 Cavalry regiment, who, along with his siblings, fought on the eastern front during the India-Pakistan War of 1971. Produced by RSVP Movies and Roy Kapur Films, the movie is an adaptation of real-life events that transpired during the Battle of Garibpur in 1971. Talking about the film, Raja Krishna Menon told PTI, "It is easier to make bombastic, jingoistic, ‘we are going to kill everybody’, or ‘chop off people’s head' (kind of films). I was fortunate that the universe was right for the film from the producers, actors, technicians and everybody who is part of it, we all agreed that’s not the film that we are going to make, and managed to stick through it."
