BTS Jhope recently held his Sweet Dreamland live fan event, where he engaged with fans through Q&A sessions and fun interactions. However, one particular moment caught ARMY’s attention—he mentioned fellow member SUGA for the first time since the rapper’s DUI controversy, leaving fans emotional and hopeful.

During the event, a fan asked J-Hope, “If you were born again, which BTS member would you want to be?” The question took him by surprise, and he initially joked, “Wow, this is hard. Just be born as J-Hope,” making the audience laugh. After thinking for a moment, he began listing members, saying, “Who should I pick? V? Jungkook? Jin’s not bad.” He even playfully asked, “How does it feel to be that handsome?” sending the crowd into laughter.

As he continued contemplating, the audience erupted in unison, shouting “Yoongi!!” referring to SUGA. J-Hope, caught off guard, repeated, “Yoongi hyung?” with a surprised laugh. This was the first time he had publicly mentioned SUGA since the rapper’s DUI incident in August 2024, making it a significant moment for fans.

Despite the crowd’s enthusiasm, J-Hope eventually chose Jin, explaining, “I see him often, and I think he’s really unique. He really lives a different life and thinks so differently from me. I think that would be fun.” His answer drew cheers, but the brief mention of SUGA left a lasting impact on fans.

Since his DUI controversy, SUGA has been noticeably absent from social media, sparking concern among fans. Currently serving in the military, he has not posted on Weverse or Instagram since August 2024. With his birthday approaching on March 9, many hope he will finally break his silence and reconnect with ARMY.

J-Hope’s mention of SUGA, though brief, reminded fans of the strong bond within BTS. Many took to social media to share their emotions, expressing their continued support for the rapper. As the wait for SUGA’s return continues, moments like these reassure ARMY of the unbreakable connection between the members.
