BTS Jhope, widely recognized for his compassionate nature, has once again demonstrated his kindness. The Kpop idol, who is currently serving in the military, recently treated his fellow soldiers to an expensive paid vacation. This heartfelt gesture left fans admiring him even more. In a photo shared on social media, several of Jhope’s military colleagues were seen holding a banner featuring the BTS member’s face alongside a touching message that read, “My colleagues, you have worked hard. I will pay for it, so have fun. Loyalty.” The banner also mentioned, “Baekho New Recruit Training Battalion Privates' Motivational Training, Full Sponsorship Support: BTS Jhope.”
BTS fans were quick to praise Jhope also known as 'Sunshine Hobi' for his generosity and thoughtfulness toward his colleagues. ARMY flooded the internet with their appreciation for the BTS members and expressed how they are waiting to get him back on October 17.

This isn’t the first time Jhope has showcased his caring nature. Known for always looking out for his bandmates and expressing love and gratitude towards ARMYs (BTS fans), the rapper has once again won hearts with this gesture of appreciation. Fans have applauded him for making his military service period meaningful by building camaraderie and supporting his fellow soldiers.
Jhope enlisted in the military on April 18, 2023, starting his training at the Army A Division Recruit Training Center in Gangwon Province. His hard work and dedication earned him an early promotion to corporal and the role of platoon leader, thanks to his exceptional marksmanship and first-aid skills.

BTS Jhope is set to be discharged on October 17, 2024, after completing his 18-month mandatory military service, making him the second BTS member to return home after Jin. Fans are eagerly anticipating his return, along with the other members, who are expected to complete their service by June 2025.
Before his enlistment, Jhope had an eventful solo career. He released his debut solo album, Jack in the Box and collaborated with J.Cole on the track On the Street. Even while serving, he made a highly-anticipated solo comeback in March with the release of his six-track EP HOPE ON THE STREET Vol. 1, accompanied by a documentary showcasing his passion for dance.
