Sofia Carson has been making waves with her talent, from acting in hit movies to creating music that resonates with fans worldwide. The actress and singer recently reflected on her collaboration with BTS' Jimin, sharing how it all came to be and what made the experience so special.
In an interview with HELLO! Magazine, Carson opened up about working with Jimin on their song Slow Dance. She revealed that the BTS member was incredibly kind and made sure she felt welcomed during their collaboration. “I know that Jimin is a very special person and he has a beautiful heart. They wanted to make sure that everyone who collaborates with him matches that energy and I was so honoured when they told me that,” she said.
Carson further shared how she travelled to Seoul to film the music video, calling the entire experience “beautiful.” Expressing her gratitude, she described Jimin as “the kindest heart” and emphasized how meaningful the opportunity was for her.

The collaboration between Carson and Jimin happened unexpectedly. The BTS star watched Carson’s performance in Purple Hearts and was captivated by her voice. His team later reached out to her to make the project a reality. “Jimin watched Purple Hearts, a true story. I was told that he loved the sound of my voice, and he thought it would be the perfect fit for him,” Carson revealed.
When asked about the possibility of working with Jimin again, Carson left the door open, saying, “We’ll see.” She also expressed her admiration for BLACKPINK, noting that she would love to collaborate with the girl group in the future. “I'm super into what they're doing,” she shared.
Aside from her music projects, Carson is also gearing up for the release of her upcoming film The Life List. The actress described it as “one of my proudest pieces that I get to share with the world.”
Recently, Carson was named a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) award ambassador alongside Noah Centineo, recognizing her contributions to the entertainment industry and advocacy work.
