This achievement not only marks his first solo music video to hit half a billion views but also makes it the first-ever solo debut MV by a male K-pop artist to reach this massive number.

Released on July 14, 2023, at 1 p.m. KST, Seven achieved this impressive feat in just one year, eight months, and seven days. The song quickly became a fan favourite, earning praise for its smooth vocals, catchy melody, and refreshing sound. The music video, featuring South Korean actress Han So Hee, further elevated its appeal with captivating visuals and cinematic storytelling.

Fans from around the world flooded social media with celebratory messages, expressing their admiration for Jungkook’s continued success. Platforms like X, Instagram, and Weverse were filled with congratulatory posts, reflecting how Seven remains a beloved track long after its initial release.

In addition to Seven’s achievement, Jungkook’s FIFA World Cup 2022 anthem Dreamers, featuring Fahad Al Kubaisi, recently crossed 400 million views on YouTube. Released on November 22, 2022, the track took two years and three months to hit this milestone. Dreamers gained international recognition for its uplifting message and became the official theme song for the Qatar World Cup, where Jungkook made history as the first Korean solo artist to perform at the opening ceremony.
