BTS RM Aka Kim Namjoon Countdown: BTS' comeback is getting everyone excited by the day after what seemed like a protracted and silent period in K-pop history. And seems like BTS leader RM aka Kim Namjoon appears to be the most prepared of all!

BTS RM has sent fans an impactful reminder that the group's long-awaited reunion is getting closer, with only a month left before the members finish their military service. The well-liked K-pop singer posted pleasing update on his Instagram stories on May 11. The cartoon brown bear in the picture was holding a placard that said, 'D-30.'

The meaning of RM's post was clear to fans: it signaled the end of 30 days till June 10, when RM and fellow member V will formally be released from their required military service.

BTS RM's post led to multiple countdown threads and messages on social media platforms. Since the group started recruiting in late 2022, many supporters have talked about the unreal it seems to be getting near to the moment they've been waiting for.

One of the many users wrote, "30 days left for joon to come back. Omggg I can't believe it." Another user wrote, "Only one month until joon gets discharged from the service. From 548 to 30 days, we have come a long way..." Third user wrote, "The thought of finally seeing u in just 30 days is overwhelming. A free man, back to your comforts, your studio, free to go wherever your heart moves you. U must be feeling giddy yourself."

For fans who are just getting started or are catching up, BTS has been officially taking a break from group activities. Every member was required by law to serve in the South Korean military, which is for all physically fit men.

BTS RM will be released from the military on June 10th, having started his mandatory service in December 2023. Jimin and Jungkook will return on June 11th, while on June 21st, SUGA, who is presently employed as a public service worker, will be formally released. BTS ARMY have been eagerly anticipating this moment since the group's enlistment.
