BTS ARMYs worldwide are filled with joy as RM, the leader of the global sensation, makes his solo comeback with the album Right Place, Wrong Person. The album, known for its existential themes and bold messaging, features the title track 'LOST!' and a standout fan-favourite, Track #3, 'out of love'.

In 'out of love', RM opens up about his life and experiences with raw honesty. The song's powerful lyrics confront various issues, including the controversial topic of smoking, which RM addresses head-on. He raps, "I’m just a pack of cigarette, I’m going to burn down all the love and the hate, the right, the wrongs. Even the godd*mn world I’ve been livin’ in for my whole life."

The smoking controversy surrounding RM emerged in November 2023 when he accidentally shared a photo of himself smoking a cigarette on Instagram Stories. Despite deleting the post shortly after, RM faced criticism from some who believed that his actions could negatively influence his young fans.

In response to the controversy, RM had previously stated on Weverse Live, "It’s my life. …I’m just a singer." Now, through his music, RM is directly addressing the issue, asserting his right to make his own choices as an adult. The song's lyrics convey a sense of defiance and self-assurance, with lines like, "You can f*ck my body, can’t f*ck my mind" and "Smoking kills? I know/It's my fuckin' business".
