BLACKPINK, the powerhouse Kpop girl group, has once again cemented their status as global superstars with their 'BORN PINK TOUR,' which has officially become the highest-grossing concert tour by a vocal group in history. The tour, which spanned 66 dates, amassed an incredible $331.8 million, surpassing the previous record held by One Direction's 'Where We Are Tour' since 2014.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that BLACKPINK's 'BORN PINK TOUR' is not only the highest-grossing tour by a vocal group but also by an Asian act and a girl group in history. The tour, which saw all 66 shows sold out, has also made BLACKPINK the first Asian act and girl group to exceed the $300 million mark in revenue, solidifying their status as global icons.

One of the standout moments of the tour was BLACKPINK's stadium concert in Los Angeles, where they broke their own record for the highest-grossing concert by a group in history, earning an impressive $13.81 million. This achievement further highlights BLACKPINK's immense popularity and influence in the music industry.

In addition to their record-breaking tour, BLACKPINK has also made history in the United Kingdom, becoming the first Kpop girl group to earn a BRIT Gold Certification for an album. The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) recently certified BLACKPINK's debut studio album, 'The Album,' with gold status, recognizing its sales of over 100,000 units in the UK.

'The Album,' released on October 2, 2020, by YG Entertainment and Interscope Records, debuted at number one on the Gaon Album Chart in South Korea, selling over 1,092,550 copies in its first month. It became the best-selling album by a female act in South Korea and the first to surpass one million sales in the chart's history.
