BTS member RM is currently serving in the military along with other members of his group and will return in 2025. He recently interacted with fans on Weverse and gave updates about his well-being. One fan asked RM about his upcoming project and RM's answer was left confused. He neither confirmed nor denied the possibility of his new project and this has made fans excited.

While asked about his next project, RM simply wrote, "How do I put it? It's very philosophical."

Earlier, RM penned a heartfelt letter for the fans on the special occasion of Lunar New Year's Day. He wrote, "Hello, ARMY. How are you doing? I have been adjusting well to my bed. I ate rice cake soup, too. Since it's Lunar New Year Day's, I'm taking a break and living well. I'll have to spend the Lunar New Year one more time to see you. I'll do my best. I believe it will be another place of learning and experience. Stay healthy anytime, anywhere. I hope there are more good things than bad things. I hope that our relationship will continue. Happy New Year!"

He was earlier in the news after he mistakenly posted a picture of himself smoking on Instagram and deleted it later. The deleted photo immediately went viral on social media and BTS fans expressed their concern over RM's health. He addressed his smoking controversy and said, "Guys please, guys come on, it’s my life, tell your opinions about- I don’t know guys, I’m just a singer."

The singer earlier expressed the dilemma celebrities face in sharing things on social media. "It's a dilemma I face because my act of sharing can make me look like a pushover. Many celebrities, stars, and artists prefer mystery, maybe because they have many scars or because they don't want to open up," he said.

On the work front, RM released his solo album 'Indigo', which was a huge hit. He also appeared in Jimin's documentary 'Jimin's Production Diary'.
